Socialyx ("Socialyx", "we", "us") is a social media management platform operated by Arrow Development, United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to the Socialyx web application at socialyx.co.uk and any connected services.
In short: we collect the information you give us and the data you authorise us to access from social platforms (Facebook and Instagram) solely to provide scheduling, publishing, analytics and engagement features. We never sell your data, and you can disconnect an account or delete your data at any time.

When you connect an account via Facebook Login, we request only the permissions needed to manage your pages: to read the pages you manage, publish content you create, and read insights and comments for those pages. We use this data only to provide the features you enable in Socialyx. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties. Our use of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
When you use AI caption or content-plan features, the brand brief and prompt you provide are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate text. We do not send your access tokens or audience data to the AI provider, and generated text is returned to you for review before anything is published.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run Socialyx, under contract and only as needed:
Access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a social account, its access token and stored credentials are removed. If you close your account or request deletion, we delete your personal data (subject to any legal retention obligations).
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@socialyx.co.uk. You may also disconnect any connected account at any time from within Socialyx or from your Facebook settings.
You can request deletion of the data Socialyx holds from your Facebook login by removing Socialyx from your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, or by emailing privacy@socialyx.co.uk. Automated deletion requests from Facebook are handled at our data deletion endpoint, which confirms completion with a reference code.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
